Hello, I'm Pamela! Founder of Embark Dog Training on Long Island

I’m a certified dog trainer, honors graduate of Animal Behavior College, and founder of Embark Dog Training. My love for dogs started early, but it truly deepened in 2010 when I raised a puppy for Guiding Eyes for the Blind during college. Seeing that puppy become a life-changing guide dog for someone with vision loss sparked a passion for training that’s never left me.

Though I earned degrees in Psychology and Social Work, my true passion has always been dog training. As a certified trainer through Animal Behavior College, I offer reward-based, private dog training across Long Island, from puppy basics to advanced behavior support. I’m also a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and committed to ongoing education.

Whether you're searching for puppy training, support with dog behavior challenges, or need a little help building confidence with your pup, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
